I know this might be a stupid question but I I wanted to know if the 25% single persons discount on council tax is 25% off the FULL council tax (council tax, water and sewerage) or just 25% of the council tax part??

It's not a stupid question because I'm sorry to say I don't know either. In England our water/sewerage charges are paid directly to the water company, so 25% discount would only come off our CT.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

Its 25% off the whole amount. You can check on your bill that the figures are correct.
