Car Leasing or Buying

HI there
We are interested in getting a second car, out of necessity. However I was wondering whether it may be better to lease a car rather than buy a second hand one? We would like to spend as little as possible but would need enough space for car seats as we have 2 children of almost 3yo and 1yo.
Is it feasible that we can get a decent second hand car for £1500/£2000?
What is usually covered by leasing in terms of servicing, MOT, etc.?

Cheers
Andy

I have a 1999 ford galaxy which i got from ebay for £650!!

lovely and clean, runs like a dream.

I imagine with a budget like that you could get a lovely car from ebay!!

Not being mechanically minded, I would be reluctant to buy a car from ebay in case I got a "pig in a poke"
