Acer Apire One 150 question

I'd all but made up my mind to part with the cash, and was ready to order an Acer Aspire One from expansys, when I came across rumours about display problems. Seems the display can crack (under no force) after 5-6 months of use, and Acer won't repair it under warranty. Anyone here come across this problem?
