P60 Help - Need a second copy of 08/09 tax year.

Hi, I'm currently at college and applying for Adult Learning Grant for next year, The problem is I don't have my P60 They sent it back once saying they need to see it and I write to them informing then I have lost it, They just sent the form back to me saying they need to see it. I know I should have looked after it more, and will in furture, but does anyone know what I can do now?

My employers are hardly the most helpful of people and they don't seem to want to help, is there anyone who knows anything I could do?

You say "They sent it back once saying they need to see it". Are the two "it" in that sentence the same thing?

Sorry! They sent back the application form, asking to see the P60, sorry!

Lost P60

If you've lost your P60 your employer can issue you with a duplicate - but this must be clearly marked as being so

Will a copy of your final payslip for last year give the information they need? (I think it should if you were in that job for the whole year.)

Your employer is obliged to supply a copy if requested by you.
