What to get a 18 year

I have 18th Birthday coming up.
I assume most people make a big thing out of 18 rather than 21.
I have no idea what you get people. It is female and I am not that close to them. So have no idea what to buy them.
I want to get them something that is nice and lasts. But have no idea what their tastes are. Oh yes did I mention there are two of them. So double the cost. And it is very soon.
