Hi my brother's just moved into a new flat that's a bit of a dump - I've offered to buy a new cheapo sofa to tide him over until he moves in 6 months.
I've tried freecyclye & can't get any offers
. does anyone know where I could get a basic sofa for as little money as possible.
Everything's coming up a couple of hundred quid & I really want to not spend too much.

Have you tried your local classified ads in local paper and also on stuff4sale website?
Also some charity shops have furniture stores in our town, anything like that nearby?
