job help please

thank you for reading could do with a bit of help please.

My husband and myself work for the same person.My husband has been there about 4 year .I have worked there just over a year.
It is a small farm we work on but over the year our boss has taken on more and more people.My husband has just phoned telling my some of these people have had there hours cut and im now worried.I work 16 hours we have no contract.I am now also 11 week pregant and have informed them form about 6 weeks due to the work i do.If my hours were to be cut i would lose my maternity pay which i need or im going to have to go start back into work im not really sure what to do can my hours be cut ??

The fact that you have worked there means that you have accepted their terms and conditions of employment - you could ask for a copy of your contract as the employer is supposed to give this to you within 3 months of you starting work.

So far, you have only heard from your husband that some employees hours have been cut so therefore it is only hearsay, you should be notified in writing if your own hours are due to be cut.
