virgin media free upgrade to 10mb wot about those who are already paying for 10mb ?

Just wondered if anyone has called to complain about paying more as they was already on 10mb before the free upgrade was announced.
Think we pay £25 a month for 10mb package at the moment which basically means we pay about £5 more.when i called i was told the 10mb we are on will be better than the free upgrade 10mb for downloading etc and that pc total guard was not included.(doesnt sound right to me) I then asked if I could downgrade and was told that i cant so at the moment it seems that for the extra £5 a month all we get is the pcguard which I dont need anyway.

anyone else called ?

thats bull its the same service for both 10mb packages but what you can do is ask that you pay the same amount as new customer do saving u £5 a month but it will result (and they dont tell you this bit) in a new 12 month contract

I phoned quite awhile ago when they first said about free upgrades.

Was told I get free PC Guard+, also my phone package was included free calls weekends. If I downgraded then I would lose my loyality discount of £19.50. Oh and evenually we will be moved up to 20mg at the same price. They are doing all the upgrades from 2mg to 10mg first.
