Panda Internet Security 2009 Help!!

I Have Panda Internet Security 2009 and recently the firewall protection is not enabled and its asked to restart my computer for it to take affect but after i do this i have no look. i have also tryed to unistall it and put it back on and there is no look either i have also tryed to install Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and it will not work on my pc and a few of my icons on the desktop have a shield on like the security centre shield my computer system is windows vista, and i have also had a few times my computer randomly going off to what i called screen error i don't know if this is linked with my antivirus problem and also its saying on my windows live messenger and skype that i am not connected to the internet, even though my computer says im currently connected to Network 3 Acess local and Internet, but i dont think before this problem happened i was connected by network 3.

The 'shield' could be that Vista's UAC is switched on. That will stop some programs from running until you give express permission.

Could that be the reason that Malwarebytes' AntiMalware doesn't run?
Attempt to start Windows Vista in Safe Mode and choose; Safe mode with networking.
See if you can get Malwarebytes' AntiMalware working there.
Also try running System Restore to see if that helps.... and then running Malwarebytes' ...0
