Equifax Credit Report

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this but here goes

I requested a credit report from Equifax and have got a "Identity Check" I don't recognise from

I-CD Publishing - Northern Trust G

I emailed I-CD Publishing and they confirmed they did the Identitiy Check for Northern Trust Global Services Limited.

I emailed Nortern Trust asking if they did the check and why, I got a request from their Chicago office requesting a copy of my Credit Report and the Equifax report ID.

I emailed Equifax for their advice but have not had a reply yet.

Do you think it's o.k. to send the report and ID to Northern Trust?

Is there anything else I should be doing ?

Personally I would not worry too much about a simple ID check as it will not impact your rating (unless you failed the check!).

I would NOT send your whole Equifax report to NT G - just the relevant ID check.

I was not really worried about my rating, I was worried that somebody was tring to open an account or take out a loan in my name as I have never had any dealings with this company.

I have today received the same message.
Did you resolve it as I have tried to contact equinox by phone and it has proved difficult?

I've continued to deal with my reports, and any issues that come up, by snail-mail.
Benefit is you get hard copy response.

Last one I had was with regards to a linked address that was nothing to do with us. They corrected the mistake.

Deal with Equifax only I'd say, they always put a "Notice of correction" on your file if anything is disputed by you.
