Think im gettting ripped off please help

I am writing on behalf of my mum who is at present having great difficulty trying to get her savings back from the a& leister for one of the accounts they are charging £1500 to take the money out. When she was opening these accounts she was advised by the financial advisor to put her money into savings accounts and that her money would be safe no matter what happened. It now appears that her money may be in investment accounts and it will depend on the market how much of her money she can actually get back. Can anyone advise on what action she can take? Thanks

Can you repost this on the budgetting and current accounts bit of the forum as they will help. As its an investment product, I can't advise.
