Who is responsible for Mortgage funds whilst with Solicitor?

Once the mortgage funds have been transferred to your solicitor whose responsibility are they, the lender's, the solicitor's or the buyers?

Yes I was meaning who is responsible for the debt, say for example if that money went astray.0

you are responsible for paying any payments that fall due, the solicitor is responsible for the safe keeping of the money (it will be in their client account) until it gets used.Happily an ex mortgage broker!0
