Whats it like working as a Medical Secretary for the NHS ( in London)?

I have worked as a Secretary/ administrator in LA, Accountants firm and investment banks over the last 5 years. I have never worked in the NHS but work in my 'comfort' sector has dried up completely. I feel this really is my last opition like most trying to get a job in the NHS.

I done some research about working as a Medical Secretary (I only want to temp/ can't get a perm job at all).

Also the following systems are usually advertised

Does anyone know if theres are where you go for training for these.

I remember reading about someone who did a course for this type of job and said that most of the people on the course only got normal secretary jobs

There are usual temp positions available at my local Trust, especially over the summer months.

OP, your question is vague. I am not a medical secretary, but have worked with several. What specifically do you want to know? Do you have any prior experience?
