    Second the Lidl Prosecco recommendation at 4.49 a bottle. Used to drink M&S Cava, but found the Prosecco better and cheaper. I don't drink anything else now.

    You probably don't like Champagne because it's invariably Brut (dry) choose a Vintage Cava demi-sec (medium-dry) instead.

    Lidl's Asti is lovely, its about £3.50 or £4.00 a bottle. I think aldi also do a version quite cheap.

    Thanks for all suggestions. I am going to go with the Moscato spumente from Tesco and get the 25% discount on 6 bottles. I need 8-9 bottles - shall I go the whole hog and just get 12 bottles??
    I have just been looking at my vouchers. Only have £3 and it appears they only double them up in £5 denominations so will either just get £3 off the bill or save them for another shop :mad:

    The 25% off on 6 bottles of wine at Tesco has ended now (finished sunday) - the offer is now the normal 5% off on 6 bottle sof wine, sorry!
