Vodafone sim nightmare!

I am trying to register a vodafone sim card but with no joy, it is driving me do-lally!
On line it says to enter your phone number and you will get a text with a four digit pin number..........it never comes! I have tried to register it with the automated voice service....24 hours to activate it.........5 days later nothing.

I have tried to speak to someone but funnily enough you need credit to make the call, ideal as I can't register the sim to add credit!!

I had two vodafone sims sent and both don't work. Any help would be REALLY appreciated.

hi if you go to asda get a new sim card,top it up£5,they will do it for you,its 8pence a min phone calls & 4p for a text,the sim card is 50p or free if you spend £5 top up,good luck.

Are you still having problems with this?

If so, I suspect your number is currently showing as being in 'Dormant' status which is easy to resolve by just making a chargable call which will then activate your line and allow the text message with the PIN code to come through to you so that you can complete your online registration.

If you haven't got any credit on the number then you'll just need to make a manual Top Up in order to make your chargable call and once you're set up online you'll then be able to continue to Top Up via 'My Account'.
