constructive dismissal

I have been working as a Manager for the last year but a few months ago another member of staff was dismissed. My boss and him were to say the least enemies. The dismissed employee then filed for unfair dismissal. A few weeks after this I was asked by my boss about an incident with him where he had jokingly mentioned my boobs. I said this was a joke to her on 4 separate occasions and that I didn't want it taking further. On each occasion she said it wasn't a joke and on one occasion she had said it was like her going up to one of the boys at work and "asking them if they would wear lycra shorts so she could see their balls better" I felt like I was a !!!!!! or something for accepting this, but again I said no. I was then asked a week later by another senior member of staff (my boss's friend) if I consider this behavior acceptable and that is was in fact a form of sexual harassment and would I like to put this in writing. Again I said no. I was upset and said to my boss "how could you do this to me, your my friend and you took this further after clearly knowing how I felt". I said that "if I was her friend then how could she ask me to lie". She got upset and said she couldn't believe how this dismissed member of staff had drove her to it, I said it would not be the same between us now and I would leave but she asked me not to, so I stayed........................... Three months on since then certain members of staff including myself received bonuses apparently for the work put in through the difficult time of this members dismissal. I received half the bonus of a senior member of staff (an accounts clerk) and lower than another member of staff at the same level. When asked why, I was told this was not performance related and it was all perfectly legal and above board. My boss said it was not her decision but taken at a higher level. When I asked this person at the higher level if it was their decision, they said no it was not..............Since refusing my boss, I have also been unable to do my job properly and refused access to accounts, or been part of other decision making within the company which was suppose to be part of my job. She then sent me forms to fill in about the accounts, and other issues knowing I do not have the information and cannot do. I believe this is to make me feel inadequate. I have been left out of meetings and the accounts clerk now goes in my place. I am left to be the receptionist not a manager. I am given jobs to do by the accounts clerk, like ordering her ink for her and told I have to do them by another senior member of staff (my boss's friend). I have just put a grievance in but I am so scared now. She has now started sending me all the things that I have previously asked for and not got, and asking me to meetings. Sounds great but she is a very clever person is duplicating the same game she played before with the dismissed member of staff. She has openly admitted to having a hit list of people who were friends with this member of staff. I don't want to go back to work as I know I am next on the list but I don't want to leave either. I have been told that constructive dismissal is an option, but is it my only one.................thanks for reading and any advise would be most helpful

Red angel, its difficult to understand
You have 2 bosses, which one of them is female, its confusing:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

so sorry about the paragraphs my return button isn't working on my keyboard. One of my children broke it. I have two senior bosses, both women and both friends. Above them is a board of trustees, all male, whom I believe are unaware of what has happened. Hope this clarifies my story and again sorry it is so long and this is my first ever post so thank you for being patient .0

Tbh you sound above yourself
Why is it you dont think you should be ordering office supplies?
As for the incident. I tend to agree that it isnt suitable office manners and deserved to be acted on whether it offended you or not. If it isnt the same comments can be made elswere to people who are less inclined to accept it and liability existss due to not dealing with previous issues.
As for the bonus issue. You need to find out why.
I also hope your job doesnt involve written reports or communication.0 -

Well, ain't you just the sweetest pair of charmers there ever were?
If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything - did nobody ever teach you that?
Redangel - LinasPilibaitisisbatman is a troll in my opinion and will contribute, as he has done in another thread on this sub-forum, very little in the way of constructive advice. Happily, you can ignore the useless witterings of this bitter mind by clicking on his name and then adding him to your ignore list.
Here endeth the sermon...0 -
Thanks for the comments but I am not above myself. I order things for people everyday and I believe am a good and kind person. I came here looking for some help or options. I typed this post in between having my child's birthday party as I was worried about going back to work tomorrow. I did not realise that I had to to take into account how grammatical my post should read. I thought this site would be of some help but if imbeciles like the ones I have seen spend their sad lives correcting peoples academic abilities then it is a real shame. I am also not stupid so please do not speak to me as such. If you really want to do something constructive then go and pick on someone who deserves it. You don't know me and in all honestly are just bullies. I see and meet with people like you everday. You probably have little man syndrome, sat behind your computer, with no family to think about but yourself, playing the big guy. Well done you ......Everyone give them a big clap for being total and utter !!!!!!.:T0

LinasPilibaitisisbatman: I take your the followings comments on board: "I also hope your job doesnt involve written reports or communication". But why not check your typo errors too, kettle and pot spring to mind "If it isnt the same comments can be made elswere to people who are less inclined to accept it and liability existss due to not dealing with previous issues.......... what a clever little man you are for pointing that out to me :rotfl:0
