Super comfy flat shoes?

Hello!
I need to get some super comfy flat shoes as i will be walking about all day in my new job!
Does anyone have any advice on a good make, i usually wear trainers so i have no idea what brands to look at.
Pref something that will look fairly smart and last a while.
Thanks in advance...

    I don't recommend ECCO shoes.

They're expensive and my mums fell apart (literally the sole disintergrated at the bottom) and it's been 10 days since I reported ti to them with no call or message back. Going to ring them again tomorrow.

From googling it's pretty much a common problem and their customer support - according to the google reports (and my limited experience so far) - is pretty non-existant.

Crocs...I walk in them day in day out...don't even know you are wearing them!

They do all sort of different ones, some look 'smarter' then others.

Loads of website that sell them but if you want to have a look at the different styles, have a look here http://www.jellyegg.com/?source=adwords&gclid=CIKworeFrZsCFVUA4wodFjlgaw
  • Hi,

I'm on my feet all day too - would die without hush puppies. Super smart andcomfy just like my trainers. They are expensive but i go to brantano or stead and stimpson shops where you can usually get last season's one for around £25.

Crocs my fave, I wear them from early early spring until I'm forced into shoes in winter. For shoes I like hush puppies and Ecco, for sandals definitely flyflots from shoe shop.com they are theeeee most comfy sandals and a smarter than crocs when needs must. Flyflots have now brought out boots and shoes I think so I will try them this winter. I don't rate pavers brand on shoeshop.com they were awful.

I agree Flyflots are so comfy, I have just got another pair of their sandals for work, got 3 pairs now and so comfy you can wear them straight away.

I like Crocs but can't get away with them in the office really so I've bought some skechers, similar to these in black

and they're so comfy (even comfier than Crocs, tho I hate to admit it) - lots of different styles too

I live in my Flyflots, always have 3 pairs on the go at once and replace them when shoeshop.com have a sale. Comfortable from new and just get better with wear.

Just remembered that when I was doing a lot of restaurant work I was advised to buy a new pair of shoes every year without fail as new shoes have more bounce in the sole, if you get what I mean, and the suggested type was something like these clarks shoes
http://www.clarks.co.uk/find/Department-is-women/EndUses-is-casual/ProductType-is-shoes/product-is-00254797. Marks and sparks do something similar in their footglove range.
