HSBC bank charges refund

I had a call today from HSBC confirming I am legible for financial hardship, and my charges were over £3,000, but as a goodwill not full payment to help tie me over a 3 month period they would pay me £450.00 reviewed again in 3 months, don't know what to do and why aren't all fees being paid back when they stated the owed figure

Simon, anything unclaimed is still on the table on the conclusion of the OFT test case. Furthermore, once you have the letter update the thread again and we will see if we can get a response back to them. Did you go back to July 2001 on the charges?
