Reclaiming bank charges from the bank of ireland

Hi - Just joined the forum. Does anybody know if the same rules apply to reclaiming bank charges from the BOI? Has anybody done it? I would really appreciate some advice.

I don't think any UK banks are proceeding with charge reclaims unless you can show that it would cause severe hardship if they didn't refund.

out of curiosity, since BOI have withdrawn from the UK guarantee scheme etc, are they still covered by the House of Lords Appeal or have they withdrawn from the group "protection"?
