OK, I've uninstalled that, but still can't access the three programmes. Any more ideas?

I notice your still on service pack 1
If you goto 'windows update', does that work? If so id advise installing service pack 2

Aside from that im slightly baffled. Your initial pst looked like you might be infected due to the weird AVG thing. Now it looks like you just dont have the net. Have you tried simply switching the router/modem off and starting afresh?

It would also have been better had you run a FULL scan with malwarebytes to at least elliminate some things.

I've got Windows update, but there are no updates available!

    Tried that, no difference

Every time I run a full scan, I get an alert saying the programme has stopped working and is being shut down. This can be anywhere between 30 and 80 minutes into the scan!

    Try here.

Download the System Cleaner (last on the list) and run it.

Then go to Windows Automatic Updates and let it load all the High Priority updates which should include a Malware Removal Tool.

Check if there is anything in the Custom scan that you think you might need then go back to COMODO and see what you like.

Can't guarantee it'll solve your problems as Vista is a mystery to me but I think it could be worth a shot.

    Best of luck.
