Advice needed on when to end my auctions.

Hi. Advice needed please. I have only ever ended my auctions on Ebay on Sunday evenings. However I want to take advantage of the free gallery day today but I am at a loss at when to end the auctions? Should I go for a 7 day listing ending Monday or a 10 day listing ending Thursday? And what time is it best to end the auction?? I don't watch much TV so not sure if there are certain soaps / programmes during which I shouldn't end my auctions
.
I only sell my children's clothes which they have outgrown as well as other baby items that I no longer need. Thanks for any advice. Nadia

Thursday nights have always been excellent for me, which is 10 days from today, so I have a few on Turbolister waiting to go up tomight.
However, I have also listed some on a 5 day auction to finish Saturday, amd some on a 7 day to end next Monday. Oh yes and lots of BINs as well following some great advice I was given on another thread.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. BINs???? (Buy it Now?) What advice was that?

I can't recall who it was but with the last 10p BIN day they suggested listing all the 'difficult' stock as a BIN but with a best offer, so it worked almost like a reverse auction. For instance, start something with a BIN of £8 and wait to get an offer near enough to it to make it worth your while.
I sold quite a few bits and pieces that I had for ages and had never been able to sell. I also sold some new stock using straight BINS that only ever go at opening price on an auction, so by using BIN I get a much higher turnover.
I'm using a mix of auctions, BIN's and BIN's with best offer depending on what goes better where.

I dont think it matter too much on which day your listing ends so long as its not too early or late in the day. My best days would be mondays and thursdays, finishing in the evenings.
Bin with offer are really good if your selling items in bulk and dont mind getting varying prices for them. I only use bin only when i am not prepared to lower the price. For normal auctions 2nd chance can come handy especially if a few bidders bidded higher than what you expected.0
