Has it only just happened? If so remove the cover, battery, sim and any memory card. Let the phone dry out for about 48 hours and use a cotton wool bud to dry the contacts on the phone.

1) Dismantle as above and put in the airing cupboard for several days.*

As above, don't even think about switching it on.
My daughters U600 went in the shower last month (don't ask !) and was dried out using the above method and now works like before...0 -
once battery sim ect is out, i hear that putting the phone in a bowl of dry rice for a few days helps ( absorbs any water)0
