Try ebay for replacement windows/doors, etc (and furniture and other items of course). Tends to be the cheapest. You can buy allsorts of things like wallpaper and carpets, too.
Online shops, there's the Doll's House Emporium http://www.dollshouse.com/ who are pretty good for items and inspiration. They have a free catalogue which is good to get, and again gives you lots of ideas.
There's also Hobby UK http://www.hobby.uk.com/catalogue/0005-dolls-houses.html who do various accessories. They have a catalogue you can buy in places like WH Smith and some newsagents but again, the above link is to teir online shop.
My mum is into dolls houses and recently got a mansion off Freecycle and is in the process of rennovating, so I have been helping her to source various items for that.0 -

You may find if it's an old style house with metal windows it will be 1/16th scale as opposed to 1/12th scale of the newer houses. If you google things like Triang, 1/16th scale, metal windows, tin windows, any of these words may find something of interest.
I'm sure I have seen the windows for sale somewhere but 1/16th scale items are more difficult to find you have to search far and wide. Could you try some paint remover for metal that will shrivel the paint off and then re-paint them with some enamel paint.
I hope you enjoy doing it up, I find that the more challenging it is the more I enjoy it.
I have nine houses at the moment and 1 farm and I have decorated 4 for my nieces.
Have fun.
