N96 Locked to vodafone! Need help

Hello,

Can any one tell me how I can change my product code on my N96 so I can download all the latest firmware updates and make the phone work as it should.

when you say it is locked i presume you mean you can't use it on the network that you want? In which case it costs around £10-20 to get it unlocked. Just google unlock phone and you should get a shed load of websites that offer it.

is what you need (NSS not the Nokia Tool). Instructions are quite abundant at the many Symbian and Nokia forums. It's quite easy to use, but you might need to re-input your network settings once you've updated your firmware.
