How does one join?

All info welcome as I think I may be missing out on a good thing here.

    What is it?  ???

A membership scheme for people who frequently fly, offering discounts and perks generally

    Who runs it?

    The airlines

    How does one join?

By contacting the airline you frequently fly with

    Why would one join?

To get discounts and or perks on future flights

Not sure, if you already do frequently fly with certain airlines I'd have though they would pick up on such things via their own internal systems spotting recurring names/addresses etc. For one off flights the benfits of joining will probably need to be wieghed up against the influx of e-mails and mailings you get from them
  • Thanks for that. ;)Although I fly frequently its rarely with the same airline,,as Im always on the lookout for the best price.
