does JSA count towards your personal allowance?

does jsa contribute towwards the personal allownace, in which u only get taxed after u pass this allowance?

    unless they changed it recently it is classed as taxable income, but as any other income would impact on JSA it would be rare to be paid JSA and be taxed on it.

    It is classed as taxable as they require you to declare it when you're claiming tax credits.
