A & L hardship / Debt Recovery Action

Hi All

i am in the process of claiming financial harship with A & L, and they are now threatening me with court action and a CCJ unless i pay the £572 outstanding balance within the next 7 days, can they do this? should i try and raise the money and pay it off, then claim it back? (note i can probably just about do this) or should i put a counter claim in against them?

Andy, make them aware that if they do take you to court, you will counter claim for the charges.

Ring them every single day and hassle them. Talk about the stress that not paying your priority debtors is having on you are your family...etc.etc.
