help and advise about finance loan for retraining

hi this is my first post
i have wronly been sold a finance for a college course i will not be able to complete due to ill ness
a salesman came round my house ,i thought he was a tutor and pressured me to sign a agreement saying as i was unimployed i could afford the weekly payment and i had no prospects because of the resession and would need city and guilds or nvq just to get a trade,i informed him i ve been on incapasity since my accident but that diddnt stop him then he used the phone to do a credit check for finance thus came back ok
i realised not even my bank would give me a loan and doubted the agreement i have signed, i was told i had some time to change my mind but have found out to cancel i had seven days now is too late,since then my condition has worsened and i will need another operation is there any way out of this for me ?

Ok be specific.

What type of agreement did you sign?

Is it a Consumer Credit Agreement?

What was the date of the agreement?

Who is the provider of the finance, a bank or the training provider?

How much and how long is it for?

Have you cancelled your enrollment with the training provider?

its a cdf career development finanace ltd for £3850.35 weekly instalments 3yrs
it was in may but hasnt collected until 15/06/09
finance was through the train 4 trade skills own lender
and didnt cancel within the 7 days as i thought i had longer
i am now worried as i have 5 kids and its going to be hard enough getting by with my health problems and dont need the credit worries as well

Think you will have a hard time cancelling now. Your only real hope is to get on train 4 trade skills and see if you can get them to cancel and refund to the finance company.

Unfortunately not reading the documentation will likely cost you your credit rating.

How about actually making a start nd getting down to some studying. It could well be the start of some better fortune for you. I am assuming you contacted T4TS on the basis that you wanted to take some pro active steps in bettering yourself and your career options.

yes i agree but up and coming operation to try and fix my knees again means plumbing will be unrealistic due to all the kneeling down ,i thought i was fixed 3yrs ago

Sorry not to have replied sooner, but only just caught your response.

So you signed up in May 09 for a plumbing course?

And by mid June you have an up and coming knee operation? And you did not know in May you had a knee problem.
