Three Mobile introduce £0.00 per month contract.

Seems crazy, but Three UK will soon launch a new tariff called SIM ZERO.

Sim Zero will cost £0.00 per month, and Skype calls will be free.

You will pay for calls and texts but on average 150 mins/texts will cost about £15.00

The contract will work on a 30 day notice basis.

Today sees the the launch of the UK's cheapest monthly price plan from 3 Sim Zero

    Details are

Sim Only offer - 30 day rolling contract

    Free Skype, MSN and Voicemail

    £0 a month line rental

    10p per text
    20p per minute for calls
    30p per MB for data

    (same as standard PAYG rates)

you just pay for what you use at the end of the month, this is ideal for anyone who hardly uses a phone or wants one for emergenices as the sim never expires and never needs a top up.

nb. Sim will only work in a 3G handset

The PAYG rates are actually better because each top up you get

Free Text Messages - 600(£10 online topup) / Unlimited (£25 online topup)
    Free 150MB internet usage
    Free 3 to 3 calls

    Minimum top up £5

Free Skype and MSN sounds good - are they still free if you don't use the phone at all though for calls/texts?
