Paypal sending emails to wrong address

My OH and I share a Paypal account - we have to because according to Paypal we both use exactly the same debit card so it says we can't have our own accounts (only the card numbers are the same - it ignores the fact that the dates, security codes and issue numbers are different  but that's another rant!).
He set up an account and I added my email address to his. I can accept payments at my address and pay with my address... but his email account receives ALL the Paypal emails, even if I paid for something, he gets the receipt! It's so annoying. If I buy something on eBay I get the 'you won' email but not the receipt. (Paypal has also given out his name when I pay, totally unbeknownst to me, when I check out it brings up my name and address but then I've had post go to him instead even though Paypal never mentioned his name - it doesn't do it every time though, it's so random). How can I stop this? Surely if I log in to our account with my email address, then Paypal should know to use my name and send my emails to ME and not someone else?

I have two accounts and it always sends those emails to one of them, and never the other. I assume the first email address entered is the "master" address and all important emails will be sent to it.Undergrad law student. Take my advice with a pinch of salt! :rotfl:0

Why would you want duplicate email to half a dozen accounts, I certainly wouldn't?
I have 6 email accounts registered against my paypal account and only the primary email gets the notice, and I'm happy with that. I don't want dozens and dozens of emails duplicated across all my accounts.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
