Mirena Coil Questions (probably one for the ladies)

Hi, I'm thinking of having the mirena coil fitted as has been recommended by my consultant.

Problem is that a friend told me it was really painful and did not help her anyway.

I suffer from VV. Hvy periods and also get migrane before and after so I loose a week of my life a month.

At the end of my tether as should be going out tonight but too ill.

Any advice appreciated.
