Because the take over reduces consumer choice the matter has been referred to OFT for consideration,and possible referral to Competion Commission for investigation.

Looks like they were investigating TT's buying of OneTel as well.

The deadline though is only a tomorrow for OneTel, and a few days away for Tele2.

I suggest anyone not happy with TT buying the competition to email the case officer asap.
