Oh being forced out?

Hi There,
I'm one of those annoying intuitive people that read between the lines... and I suspect from your description of your OH that - well, they are "sticking it out" for the kids.....
This is very commendable - but they could ultimately compromise their own health and wellbeing by staying in a job where they are miserable, for the benefit of others. I can fully understand if this is indeed what is happening - been there, got the badge, bought the t-shirt, worn it and now need a new one coz it's faded....
If your OH has asked you not to do anything or say anything - then don't, . . . BUT DO let them know that if they need to talk or sound off or anything - that you'll be there to listen without judgement or bias. Only offer advice if asked for it - but reassure them that you wish there was something you could do to help, to leave the door open in case they finally want to ask for your help...
Not very helpful on resolving the issue - but if there is something you cannot resolve or ignore, then coping/managing is the only thing left really.
Hope everything works out OK - for your OH, you and ultimately the kids too...:hello:0 -
Hi
Following on...a month after end of term, OH has received a letter stating they're not running a music course next year and that she's no longer required at the school. Of course, she's quite upset about this. Especially as her friend got her job teaching Irish despite having no qualifications like OH who was told not to apply.
No meeting or anything, just a letter. Does anyone think there's a way of taking them to a tribunal over this as it certainly feels as though she was treated unfairly and then just dropped.0
