ryanair online check-in help needed please

My mum is going to Poland this weekend and I am doing her on-line check in. Her Polish identity card does not have an expiry date and I cannot proceed as the website keeps asking me to put an expiry date in. It is an accepted form of ID (she has travelled on it before). Does anyone know what to do now, please. thank you very much.
