Hi all
In Bristol today - in and out by 11.30am, very quick painless process. Very crowded waiting area. The worst bit was the phonecall this afternoon where I was asked to account for all the cash we have withdrawn from our accounts (we took the lot out ready) which made me fumble for some reason. Almost as if I had £100,000 in cash to hide under the bed lol :rotfl:
Anyway I have to have an face to face interview due to having been a company director, and the amount of debt (nearly £100k). My husband is having a phone interview as his is far less (around £35k).
Been told I can still take money from bank accounts until Wednesday if my child benefit or tax credits gets paid in, which I think is unusual?
It is a huge relief!:j

Well done and welcome to the club. Have you opened a bankrupt friendly account - the co-op & barclays for your child benefit/ tax credits? If not I suggest you do. I've seen from other threads that even when an OR tells a bank they have no interest in an account the bank can still go ahead and freeze the account thereby making retrieving your money a near impossibility!!2019 MFW No. 74 £13700/£30000 (45.66%)
12k in 2018 No. 98 £6274.19/£18000 (34.85%)
BTL (start) £97440.00 (current) £68000.00
Residential (start) £275000.00 (current) £268000.000 -
Opened a co-op account on Friday but not got sort code or account number yet so fingers crossed it doesn't take too long!0

Well done and you can look forward to a debt free future

Congratulations on getting over that hurdle. Have they told you when you might expect your interview? Mine told me not to expect it until July as they're so busy!BR 08/06/09 ED 10/03/10BSC member 2500

They tried to book me in for Friday but I couldn't so they said perhaps Thursday. Not sure if it's better to have it sooner or not!?0

That is quick! I'm not worried about my wait, gives me a little time to get used to my current budget - I'll start to live according to my SOA now!
Good luck for Thursday, sure it will be fineBR 08/06/09 ED 10/03/10BSC member 2500
