All i can seem to find is shops selling mobiles with airtime .. where can i get a phone without airtime - thanks.

you can buy a sim free phone. They are sold without any airtime. Carphone Warehouse does them, but they are considerably more expensive than, say a PAYG version of the phone.0

You generally have to buy air time so that you are not deemed as a "box breaker". Google the term "box breaker" and you'll see what i mean

Lidl's have a sim free and unlocked W388 for £29.99 from this Thurs. This is the type I want then I'll get a sim from say Orange for payas you go.0
