Enjoy an extra-special evening at the Barbican with a concert … and cocktail!
As part of Summer Nights, the LSO are giving you the opportunity to design your own cocktail to win a pair of tickets to one of their Summer Nights concerts.
Summer Nights is an eight-week series of concerts with the LSO at the Barbican and LSO St Luke's. Running throughout June and July, the series features world-class artists, young classical stars and the raw talent of London's young musicians. For more details visit lso.co.uk/summernights
Send in your suggestions for sizzling summer cocktail, in the alcoholic or non-alcoholic category, including the ingredients and name of your drink. If your cocktail is chosen as the winner, you'll get a pair of tickets to one of the Summer Nights concerts, and, of course, a free glass of your created beverage.
Winning recipes will be mixed by the Barbican’s bar teams and will be available on sale at each of the Summer Nights concerts.

LSO Summer Nights Cocktail Competition

The following rules (“Rules”) together with GCap Media plc's ("GCap Media") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at [insert station website link]) apply to ‘LSO Summer Nights Cocktail Competition’ on Classic FM ("the Competition") which will run from Thursday 28 May 2009 to Wednesday 10 June 2009. The "Participating Radio Station" is Classic FM.
By entering this Competition, anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and to be bound by them.
1. Details of the Competition
1.1 For the Duration of the Competition, members of Behind the Music will be invited to enter the Competition by sending in their cocktail suggestions online.

1.2 To enter the Competition an Entrant must complete the required details and click on the 'Submit' button. No more than 5 ingredients should be included in either cocktail.
1.3 All those who enter before the closing date will be entered into the competition.
1.4 The winner/s will be chosen by members of the LSO and notified by Monday 15 June.

1.5 All matters relating to the selection at random of Entrants and all other matters relating to the Competition will be at the discretion of GCap Media and the Participating Radio Station.
1.6 The judges decision is final.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Any employees of GCap Media, their immediate family or any other persons directly connected with the Competition are unable to enter into the competition.
2.2 Entries to the competitions are not restricted to UK residents, but please note that ticket prizes are for concerts that take place in London.
2.3 Notwithstanding that a winner has been declared, if GCap Media discovers before the delivery of a prize that for any reason under these Rules or Terms and Conditions the winner should have been ineligible to enter the Competition or the entry should have been declared invalid, GCap Media reserves the right to determine that the winner is disqualified.
2.4 GCap Media and the Participating Radio Stations shall not be responsible for any failure on behalf of an Entrant whose text message or telephone call are not received by GCap Media or the Participating Radio Station.
2.5 An Entrant must participate in the Competition himself or herself. In the event that a party other than the Entrant attempts to enter the Competition on behalf of that Entrant (whether disclosed or not), that entry will be forfeited and no Prize will be delivered.
3. Prize
3.1 All decisions of the GCap Media and Participating Radio Stations’ representatives will be final and binding on the Entrants and no correspondence will be entered into.
3.2 The winning cocktail in each category (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will each receive a pair of tickets to one of the Summer Nights concerts and a glass of the winning cocktail.
3.3 All prizes are non-transferable and may not be given, assigned or sold to another person. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
3.4 No purchase is required.
