Carhire 3000 query

Hi All,

I wonder if I could get some feedback on something that has come up on a car rental I have booked with Carhire 3000, or if anybody has come across it as well.

I was told I will need to pay a $250 one way fee to take a car across the U.S.A. but now I have booked it they have sent me my confirmation and it states:

Delivery Information

Pick-up service: Young Driver Premium Package: Price includes young driver surcharge for drivers aged between 21 - 24 yrs, additional drivers over 21 & the initial tank of fuel, one way fee of $250

Payment Information

- PAID IN FULL -

The sentence begins with "price includes" and within that sentence is all the things I expected but it also includes one way fee of $250, I see they ended the previous inclusion with an ampersand as if they meant to end the sentence there but surely them including the $250 dollars in that sentence means that it has been included in the price?

I wonder what peoples views on this would be or if they have come across it before.

Thanks for you help.

I have always recomended Carhire3000 on the vegas thread. NOT ANYMORE though, I had a paid in full voucher that ended up costing me £140 extra, Carhire3000 dont want to know, I have now left it in the hands of my card company.

After years of going to the states with no hassles concerning extra charges i thought I was savvy enough for it not to happen, but it seems Dollar did add the extra charge on before I signed ,even though verbally they told me it was paid in full, (both at time of rental and at end of remtal). Will have to be more careful reading local agreements in future.

I have written off the money (small hope with card company) but will never use Carhire3000 again

In answer to your OP is the price you paid enough to include the $250 as it looks like it should do. If there are any extra local costs carhire3000 have a get out clause as they were quick to show me.

BUt paid in full should mean exactly that
