hi all just need some important help my mum and dads split up about two years ago and we think theres some insurance policys floating about somewhere we think what my dads took out on my mum (and shes signed for!!) the problem is we dont know who shes insured for any policy details or anything my dad wont tell us anything and has said he wont pay for them anymore and would drather throw money down the drain than tell my mum who shes insured with!!! :mad: . is there any way of finding out what in her name and not in her name!!! any ideas???

when my uncle passed away few years back my aunt did not know what to do, I helped her sort out all insurance and financial problems. what had happened is we had a reason to believe he had life insurance policy's on his name but we did not know how to find out which insurance company he had been insured with, so i sought help from a solicitor who carried out some investigative work and he found out the company's names for us. when we contacted the insurance companys we were told he had stopped paying the premiums quite a while before he passed away hence no joy. maybe you can enquire from a solicitor.
