Family of 7 Holiday in Majorca or Gran Canaria

Hello I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of the best place to go to for a family holiday next May.
It is for 3 adults and 4 children.
Its very hard to get a hotel to cater for this amount of people in one family and I know I will probably have to get 2 rooms.
We were thinking about Santa Ponsa or Puerto Rico Gran Canaria although I would imagine it would be too hot there for a 1 1/2 year old.
Any suggestions as this will be the first holiday for the kids abroad.

hi,i regularly go on holiday with kids partner and parents,we are a group of 7,it is possible to get two bedroomed apartments on an all inclusive basis.Tenerife is cheaper than gran canaria and in the summer holiday months isnt actually as hot as their other months,i take my toddler son and its not a problem.the temperature drops cooler in the evening also.i reccommend travel republic they have a good search engine,good luck
