I used one once when I was looking for a dress for a wedding. She tried to dress me up as an 18 year old, and then when I said I thought the outfit was maybe a bit young, she tried to dress me as my Mum. I gave up. :rotfl:
Is it something in particular you're looking for? I don't think you dress like a 1950s librarian at all, but as we have seen what you look like (much slimmer and more attractive than you ever let on
), maybe we could help you look for something?
Oh, as for walking in heels, work your way up gradually, start with wedges or kitten heels if you usually wear flats. Practice around the house, check your posture in a mirror, and relax and try and walk as normally as possible.

Buffy - I used the personal shopper in Debenhams a couple of years back - was a bit sceptical but it was a really enjoyable experience - she had a double size changing room, with hot & soft drinks, comfy chairs & magazines, she sat me down asked my loads of questions, colurs, styles, what did I want to do in these clothes, etc..
Then she trotted off room the shop & came back with loads of stuff, some which I'd already noticed earlier (when I was walking through there) & others that I would of walked straight past.
There was no pressure as she was salaried & not on commission - it was free - so my advice is go for it hun

Its very lovely of you to say such things. have got fatter since Manchester am getting nervous about Leeds. ooo must book Hotel.
I need a look for work really. I wear M and S tops and pencil skirts or black skirts or A line skirts, always the same tops. I am so BORED and am going to spend anothe half term in long black skirts and t shirts. I just have nothing else to wear. hate shopping. generally one of the few things that makes me cry!
Out of work I have no idea what to wear, but one step at a time.
