This is for a business based in the NW.
We currently have a couple of water meters that we are charged by UU for. I am investigating having a number of others fitted if we decide to divide some units and have them pay the utilites themselves.
UU have explained that we would need to enter a 3rd party agreement with the tennants to charge them as they could not charge them directly.
When I asked about buying the meters from them they said that they cannot supply them.
Can any suggest where to get meters from if not UU?
Are they generally expensive to have fitted or is it relatively easy?
Many thanks.

They are not expensive to buy.
Fitting is again very easy provided the water pipe is easily accessible and the water can be turned off for fitting.0 -
Thanks for the fast reply. Its reassuring that the cost will not be too high.
Is anyone aware of the specification of the water meter that UU usually use?0
