Hi, everybody! Please, could you tell me is it very expensive to have electric storage heater in your flat?

Not especially expensive.

There are disadvantages with storage heaters in that the stored heat can 'leak' during the day, when you might not require heat, and you run out of heat in the evening.

You need to run storage heating on an Economy 7 tariff(7 hours cheap electricity through the night) but you pay extra for the other 17 hours electricity.

It is fair to say that they are not very popular and you need to experiment to get the best out of the system.
