2. The Promotion starts at 12.01am on Friday
1 May and closes at 11.59pm on Sunday

3. The Prize Draw is open to new HSBC
customers who apply online and
successfully open any of the following
HSBC accounts within the Promotion
Period: Current Account Advance, HSBC
Plus, HSBC Premier, Passport. For HSBC
Premier, financial eligibility criteria applies.
For HSBC Plus, the standard cost is £12.95
per month on a minimum 12 month
contract, renewable monthly thereafter.
For Current Account Advance, £500 is the
minimum amount payable into the account
per month. HSBC Passport has an initial
fixed term of 12 months and is renewable
monthly afterwards.
HSBC Passport has a £6 per month fee.
To be eligible, a customer must have
successfully completed an application
online and returned any required
documentation within the promotion period.
4. This Prize Draw is open to all residents of
the UK except for residents of Northern
Ireland, the Channel Islands and Isle of
Man. Employees of the Promoter and
Co-ordinator, their agencies associated with
this promotion and their immediate families
are ineligible to enter.
5. All customers applying through hsbc.
co.uk within the promotional period will be
automatically entered into the prize draw.
6. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. You may

email address and contact telephone
number, printed clearly on a postcard, to

7. A customer is only permitted a maximum

for entries which are lost, damaged,

9. One (1) Eligible Entrant will be randomly

The winner name will be drawn on or before

10. The Winner must retain and present to the

11. The prize is a trip for two (2) people to South
Africa for the third Test match between

in Johannesburg. Winner will have all
flights and accommodation booked through
Thomas Cook Travel. The prize includes:• Two economy class return flights out fromLondon to Johannesburg, South Africa.

• Minimum of one day trip details tobe confirmed two (2) weeks prior to
departure
The prize excludes:• Travel insurance
• Spending money
• Travel to/from the airport in the UK
• Food and drink (unless specified)The Winner must:• have a valid passport
• be aged 18 or over
• have a valid and accessible email address12. Total prize pool is £12,800 (including VAT).
13. The Winners will be notified in writing
and via telephone on or before 25th June2009. Judges’ decision is final and nocorrespondence will be entered into. If the
prize remains unallocated or unclaimed
the Promoter will hold the prize for two
(2) days. If the prize is still unclaimed the
Promoter will dispose of the prize at their
own discretion and the Winner will be taken
to have forfeited any right to the prize.
14. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable
for cash or any other goods or services. If in
the event that the prize is not available, for
reasons beyond the control of the Promoter,
a prize of similar theme and value will be
provided.
15. The Winner agrees that HSBC may
use the name, address of the winner
for promotional, marketing or publicity
purposes, unless otherwise advised.16. A Winner may be liable to declare his/her/prize for taxation purpose and is responsible
for payment of any tax, if any.
17. The Promoter and Co-ordinator, their
related bodies corporate, their officers,
employees and agents shall not be liable
for and shall be held harmless from any
loss, damage, or injury whatsoever which
is suffered (including but not limited to
direct or consequential loss) or sustained,

responsible for any act, omission, failure or
