Yes, I always hand write so it looks personal...My three most favourites are: Jim Carey (he wrote my name & put 'spank you very much'"!!), full signed cast from Frasier & full signed cast from Third Rock from the Sun!!Same as above post, keep it simple but enough to show you have made an effort, i always say i realise how busy you must be etc, dont do a really long letter but at the same time a short letter can show its a rush job, i always hand write my letters too i feel its more personal but thats just my opinion, i tend to put a little about myself too. Love royle family! I have carolines so far even got a handwritten note thanking me for my time! I believe this is genuine anyway! Peter kay is another of my favs but this took ages to come, about 6 months, worth the wait as its personalised. All time fav so far is trevor immelman!Infamy! Infamy! They've all got it in for me!

My kids had interesting experience, they wanted to raise money to buy some equipment for little girl who is disabled. Wrote to lots of people, included SAE (paid from pocketmoney) got lots of signed photos, DVD's, footballs, rugby balls. Alot of people we thought would send didn't send anything, some we thought they would never hear from sent things (they wrote to Margaret Thatcher and a few days later her husband died so we thought we would never hear from her but months later got a signed photo). David and Victoria Beckham were best, got a note back asking us to phone Victorias mother but her father answered and he sent us five photos I think, her mother phoned a few days later and said, "David and Victoria have asked me to tell the children not to worry they will buy the equipment." They spent over £3,000 and my children raised another £1,000. It was a brilliant experience for them, they learned alot.Sell £1500
