Just wondering what colour should the roof of one's mouth be? No directly behind the front teeth - the part you can see when you tilt your head back a bit>towards the uvula
Anyone help......Toothsmith maybe?

Light pink?
Very light where it's tight against the bone, a bit redder where it's not attached to bone.
What have you got?
Green??How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -

Thanks for the advice. I'll keep an eye on it. I'm due back at my dentist July/August for a check up.
Would thrush not make my mouth sore? I had it many years ago and had to use the dread Corsadyl and Nystan(?) pastilles. Yuk!
I'm not on any medications BTW.:wave:0 -
Thrush doesn't always make the mouth sore.
There are too many possible diagnosis and too many possible causes of each to go into here. Plus it's not allowed.
I wouldn't wait until July if it doesn't dissappear in the next few days. How to find a dentist.
