Another vote for Nicky - the triple ply with lotion from Farm foods. 9 rolls for £1.99.
Beware - Tesco was selling Nicky BUT it was a far inferior 2 ply & was HARD!
Andrex, Charmin & Triple Velvet are carp compared to Nicky. We won't buy anything else now - got the other brands on offer & were so glad when we flushed the last of them away. Nicky is much kinder to your delicate bits.0 -
What about using leaves. Back to nature.
Thank you to all who contribute to all of this super site:smileyhea !0 -
Somerfield have packs of nine Andrex two for £6.I realise Asda is cheaper but if like me you have no Asda nearby this is a good alternative.0

I stocked up on the Charmin toilet rolls at Makro about a year ago when it was on offer and am now down to my last couple. I've just looked online at the next Makro Mail starting Weds 20th May and they have the Charmin toilet roll on BOGOF offer again.
24 in a pack. £9.59 per pack + VAT = £11.02 inc VAT for 48 rolls (22p each) HTH0 -
Since doing up my bathroom I use M&S with little silver stars on it to complement my silver wallpaper, at the moment its around £2.50 for 6 rolls, not particularly money saving but I do like it

I buy when costco have a BOGOF on whatever brand, that usually lasts a very long time as we only use it in our en-suite. We use tesco value in the kids bathroom and cloakroom because they are andex puppies and use loads despite being 10 and 12! At least the value stuff does't block the toilet. I do put nice loo roll in these toilets when we have guests, but only for the time thry are here!0

That sounds pretty, might have to look out for that for xmas or something :rotfl:!
We have now found that poundlands 'Soft silk' is the best value/quality we can get. 6 rolls, normal size aswell (not like the small value ones that get used up quickly) I promise you it's softer than any Andrex we've used recently. They do it in peach and white (although that has changed to grey ish now) and it has a pattern on it. I'm sure no one can tell it's from poundland if you are worried about people knowing (I'm not!) We stock up on a few packs of peach when we go to that town, so to not have to do many journeys. £3 for 18 rolls of soft toilet roll is really very good!0
