Credit Report Results

I have just checked my credit report with Experian online for the first time ever (first time I have looked at mt file).

Over the last 6 years I have hardly ever applied for credit. It shows my Capital One card and my Orange phone. And also shows my Halifax bank account. On checking the Halifax account - they have searched my file 3 times. Is there a reason for this?????

Also, there is hardly any history, but no bad marks. How will this stand me for applying for credit? I want to upgrade my Cashcard account to a full blown current account?

Edit:
I have just realised that all my bills are in my name - but in the name of Tony and not Anthony !!! Nothing fraudulent, just that I prefer the name Tony to Anthony, will this affect things?

When you gave proof of identity how did you prove you were tony when you were not. ???

For all my Utility bills (Gas, Electric and Cable), I just rang them up and gave my details. They did not ask for any ID. They said they were going to do a credit check and was cleared straight away.

Whenever I speak to someone, I always call myself Tony - not used Anthony since I was about 17 years old

For my bank account and credit card, they required proof, so I sent my Tax form and my Council Tax bill..... and of course, they both say 'Anthony' on them

For most purposes you are called Tony and everone understands that.
For some puposes it is better to use the name on your Birth Certificate, Passport and the Electoral Roll. IMHO

So should I put a note on my credit report to state that I am also known as Tony - as none of them bills appear on the report???
