can executor reclaim charges on behalf of estate?

Does anyone know if it is possible for an executor to reclaim charges on behalf of my husbands estate.

The stress of all the charges piling up was a factor in my husband suffering a massive heart attack and dying.

I am not trying to be greedy but it would wonderful to get one back on the banks and credit cards that tormented him in the weeks before he died.

He never missed a payment ever but was sometimes late and the charges crippled him in the weeks before he died.

Yes, it is.

Do you have all statements or know all the charges for the last 6 years?

A DPA SAR request only applies to living people, so if you need his statements, you would have to pay for copy statements, unless you have internet banking and can look them up on-line

Just to clarify the online statements thingy, if it was a sole account then online banking would have stopped due to the reporting of the OP deceased husband.
