Oh no - grey eyebrows!

I had the shock of my life the other day when I found a grey eyebrow hair:eek: to say I was not impressed is an understatement of course I plucked it out but the thought of it bugged me all day (I know I'm sad) and made me think if I had anymore that I couldnt see, you know sometimes grey is only obvious in certain lights. That evening I was watching Jordan and Peter (yes, I know sad again) and saw she was having her eyebrows tinted, for some strange reason this had never occured to me before even though I had it done professionally about 7 years ago and it made no difference.
These days I prefer to do my own beauty treatments so bought an eyelash/eyebrow kit from superdrug for about £7 from eyelure it contains 12 treatments and I chose brown. I followed the instructions apart from using a barrier cream around the edges, I just judged it and wiped any excess with a baby wipe and left it on for three times as long as suggested, the product removed easily with a baby wipe and I was left with really gorgeous eyebrows:T the product colours the eyebrow hair and not the skin, I was surprised the difference it made, my eyebrows look uniform in colour and fuller but not too dark and of course not a grey in sight;), I am very very pleased with the result and would urge anyone who is not happy with their eyebrows to give this a go.

I've had my eyebrows done before as they're quite light in colour but it only lasts 3-4 weeks so as I'm watching the pennies I don't get it done now. This seems like the perfect solution.Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0

Glowgirl, I too bought the same kit in Superdrug a few weeks ago and have been tinting my eyebrows. I have dark hair but I chose the brown shade as well. I think it is fantastic. I have had my eyebrows tinted a couple of times at the salon and it cost £8 a time. The kit only cost that and should last ages. It is supposed to be for eye lashes too but I think that sounds far too fiddly to do yourself and I wear mascara any way.
The first time I did the job I followed the instructions to be letter but the my brows were not dark enough so I re-applied straight away and left it about five minutes. Voila! A terrific result. I find I need to repeat it about every 10 days or so but it is very quickly and easily done. I think the kit is made by Eyelure.0 -
Thank you for posting about this, glowgirl. It had never occurred to me that my eyebrows might have gone grey, just thought they were pale! I bought some of the Eyelure brown eyebrow dye in Bournemouth Superdrug last Saturday, and am really pleased with the results. I have got proper eyebrows again, not just a pale line!
I looked a bit like a ginger Groucho Marx whilst it was 'taking' but I left it 6 minutes and it wiped off immediately just leaving nice brown eyebrows.
Thanks again!
